One piece apparel / cut your style – clothing woven in one piece
One piece apparel sees garments not as combinations of individually cut pieces of fabric, but as compact products. Generally, clothes are made up of several pieces of textiles sewn together; the items in this collection are woven directly on a loom using single- or double-faced bonds.
After they have been woven and refined, the garments only have to be cut out to be ready to wear. The cumbersome process of sewing is eliminated since the bond woven into the textile layers replaces the seam. Nevertheless, the garments are more resilient than those with seams, and even tight-fitting woven garments can be produced because the pulling forces that come into play when a garment is put on are distributed over a large bonded area. In addition, patterns can be woven into garments without any shifted repeating bonds being required.
If a person buys pieces of textiles rather than finished garments, he or she can cut the pieces himself or herself, aided by the cutting plan that is printed on or woven into the pieces.
