STATE PRIZE 1989
Exhibiting the works entered for the Bavarian State Prize for Young Designers at Deutsches Museum in Munich in 1988 proved to be a great success. The link between technical products of historic origin and those of contemporary design was well received, which is why the State Prize was exhibited to visitors interested in technology and aesthetics from March 15 through April 23, 1989.
Forty works were submitted in the industrial design category and 115 in applied crafts; based on photos the jury selected ten submissions to participate in the contest.
