STATE PRIZE 1988
The organizers were delighted with the large number of participants who applied for a Bavarian State Prize in the contest’s second year. Thanks to preselection at the universities, the Bavarian State Prize for Young Designers challenges these institutions to compare student performance critically. In total, 41 participants applied for the State Prize in the industrial design category and 124 made submissions in the applied crafts category. Based on photos, the jury selected 14 to go on to the final round.
The works submitted for the State Prize were exhibited at Deutsches Museum in Munich.
